Professional Organizer
I have assisted others with their organizing needs since May of 2007 and have worked to provide professional and quality services.
In addition to being a professional organizer, I also hold a Bachelor of Social Work license in the State of Michigan.
I have been employed in the non-profit sector of the mental health system for 20 + years. Performing duties such as assessment, development and implementation of new programs/procedures, systems of paperwork flow, paperwork management and ongoing communication with consumers/providers in the network.
In this position as a social worker, I have been required to problem-solve and be flexible in the needs of the individuals I serve. These individuals are those who have either mental/ physical challenges or older adults. I have served as a committee chairperson for over 8 years and have organized a successful agency garage sale for 10+ years. I carry these skills and experiences over into the professional organizing field.
I continue my education in the professional organizing field through attending teleconferences and annual conferences along with reading the latest information on the web,in print and through social media. I also attend conferences throughout the year that are related to the mental health field in order to earn Continuing Education Credit as required for my social work license.
